Kinect’s European Launch is only a few days away, so the only question that stands is: “What exactly is Kinect?”.

Kinect is not only a huge step towards the future of gaming, but a huge step for fun, accessibility, and of gaming devices. Kinect uses motion detection, facial recognition, speech commands, and many other superb features. Kinect may be able to be included into a Halo Game, in one way or another.

Many games have being developed for Kinect, with the most popular having been, Kinect Sensor with Kinect Adventures, where many mini-games are played, testing the precise skills of Kinect. Kinect Sports, testing your ability to run on the spot, throw a javelin, bowl a bowling ball, and many other sports. Dance Central, where you dance to the best of your ability, copying the dancing happening on your screen. Many other games, like “Your Shape Fitness Evolved” have also been released, but there is already too many to name them all.

Kinect is set to be a big seller, and the first step forward to controller-less gaming. So all in all, these next few months are set out to be a huge few months for the future of gaming, and I, Mad Dog, will be following the progress of Kinect, and its new games, writing my own reviews, from first person experiences, playing the game, in my own living room.
